FORT DAVEY TRAVELLERS TAKE ON THE YETTIES AND THE DALEMEN IN COUNTY CUPS

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7

The Devon & Exeter League banner will be flown at both Allendale football club and at Yetminster United this Saturday November 7.
Huh! Yes I knew that would catch your attention! Both matches are Dorset County cup ties and both involve Lyme Regis. The Fort Davey Premier team will need to take their siege ladders to tackle the yetties from the Perry Street League in the Dorset Intermediate cup kick off 1.30pm, while their Division Six Brown team face a 100 mile round trip to face Allendale Res nicknamed the Dalemen,  a team formed in 1968 from Wimborne Youth FC, in the Dorset Minor cup.

Yetminster are a much recently established club founded in 2022 and sit third in their Premier division so will be no easy task for the Fort Davey marauders.

So good luck to both Lyme teams hoping to make it into the quarter finals of those competitions.
