ONE WIN, ONE DRAW, TWO LOSSES

The good news is that our oldest club Heavitree United will go on. Thanks to a merger with City Raiders, football will continue at Wingfield Park, but the Raiders, who were Division 4 champions this season and Division 5 champions a year ago, have merged with Heavitree and their former officers have taken on the roles at Wingfield.

However there is bad news elsewhere as Chard Town Reserves have withdrawn and halved our interest from Somerset. The club feel the journeys nowadays are too long and that the second team would prefer to operate maybe in the Perry Street League. We shall miss Chard who have been a credit in their time with us. This follows the recent withdrawal of Budleigh Salterton Res but they hope to spring up again next season.

The changes mean that Divisions 2 and 3 are both reduced to eleven teams.
