SENIOR DIVISION SUMMARY FOR THE WEEKEND

SENIOR

Dawlish United set the pace in Division One following their third success a 4-2 win at Elmore, and a second win for Clyst Valley 4-2 at home to Hatherleigh Town, and at this stage a bright start for both winning teams aiming to regain Premier status. Two goals for Aiken and singles from Ewing and Burwood at Winslade Park.

Victory also for Teignmouth away at Newton St Cyres 1-0, Bowery with the goal, and plenty of goals at Kentisbeare where it finished 3-3 against newly promoted Alphington. Gregory with a pair and Perrott finding the net for the Kents.
The points also shared at Tedburn St Mary in a 2-2 draw with Exmouth Spartans. Gibson-Heard and Bradley holing out for the Teds, Chudley and Collings for the Spartans.

Heavitree United and Witheridge head Division Two and both with nap hand victories. The Heavies beat Morchard Bishop 5-3 in a thriller, Way 2, Hodgson, Steward and Mouland-Ley on target, Betts, Leat and Conabeare replying. Over at Edge Down Park, Hamill 2, Perrott, Burrow and Webber finding the net for the winners.
Beer Albion with a 4-1 win at Lympstone to open their account but a second defeat for the Lympets.

Early days in Division Three but Willand XI off to a flyer at home to Starcross Dons winning 5-1. Rhodes with a hat-trick, Ruff and Hewitt getting in as well.
Upottery won their derby down the road at Feniton 4-3 Pike, Parnell, Hooper and an own goal nabbing the points, and a 2-0 win for Exeter Royals at home to Sidmouth Town, Roper and Fricker finding the net.

Uplowman Athletic enjoying an early top of the charts feeling in Division Four but cut it fine to get the better of Cheriton Fitzpaine 2-1. Jee and Burns-Cox with the home goals.
Millwey Rise saw off visitors Beacon Knights 3-0 after stubborn resistance from the Exeter team, but Thurlow with a brace and Whitehouse goals did the track.
Alphington bettered Dunkeswell 4-2, Northcott and Potter goals for the visitors, and Whipton & Pinhoe with an impressive 5-1 win at East Budleigh after being a goal down at the break scorer Mabin. Man of the match Felton with a hat-trick, Pogbutt and Phillips the others.
