PREMIER

Less than a month into the new season and already Premier looks like being a terrific contest with Colyton leading the charge following their 3-0 victory at Lyme Regis. A double strike from Grimwood and cant stop scoring Somers with the Colyton goals.
Sidmouth Town won their derby at Ottery St Mary 6-3 thanks to a nap hand from Hughes and a single from White, but Ottery deserved their triple.
Westexe Park Rangers maintained their bright opening with a 2-0 win at home to Crediton United, while East Budleigh beat Wellington 2-1 but the Somerset team whose goal came from Bryant felt they deserved at least a point.

SENIOR
Just three matches in Division One but for newly promoted Alphington a first win after two draws. The Alphas triumphed 5-2 at Elmore with a Powell treble, Preece and Haggarty getting singles.
Central prospered from their trip to Hatherleigh where they won 2-0, Bowen and Clatworthy on the mark, while Tedburn St Mary edged Kentisbeare 2-1, Bradley and Cochran finding the net.

Cullompton Rangers joined Witheridge and Heavitree United in top spot in Division Two as Withy were in County cup action, and the Heavies suffered a disappointing 5-2 setback at Newtown. So Cully shot down Morchard Bishop 6-2 after a first half they dominated ending 5-2. Betts and Tucker scoring for Morchard. Over at Newtown, Squire and Langmaid goals gave Heavitree some respite.
Elsewhere the Royal Oak enjoyed a 5-2 win at home to Lympstone, and Broadclyst did almost as well winning 4-2 against Halwill.

Division Three saw Upottery whitewash a gallant Okehampton Argyle 14-0, Blake Freemantle helping himself to a double hat-trick to steal the show. Doubles also for Walsh , Richards, and Pike.
Axminster Town sharing top spot settled for a more modest 3-1 win at home to Feniton, Idris 2 and Turner scoring, Khaliq starring for the losers.
A second win for Willand, 4-2 against Clyst Valley. Smith, Trump, Roff and Hewitt sharing the spoils, Share-Turner and Adderly replying.
Tipton St John delighted to beat neighbours Sidmouth Town 3-2 to get their season up and running.

Three wins in a row for Uplowman Athletic the Division Four leaders, their latest victims sent packing 2-0, White with both goals.
Topsham Town won a thriller against Beacon Knights 4-3 to move into second, Christian 2, Schindler and Lipscomb scoring for the Tops, who are joined by Dunkeswell Rovers who defeated Alphington 3-0. Burns 2 and Northcott finding the target.
Ex Dons unable to start their season with a win as they were gunned down 2-0 by East Budleigh.

INTERMEDIATE
A flurry of goals in Division Five , Priory with six of the best and a clean sheet to see off Otterton. Kalinov 2, Talbot 2 including a pen, Howe and MacMartin with the goals.
Chagford where both teams were at home for the first time in many years celebrated with a 5-1 win against Tedburn St Mary. Howard, Madge, Fine, Hirst and Rowe all getting in their pennyworth.
Westexe Rovers also 5-1 winners at Bradninch, Boorman with the home goal.
However it is Exmouth Albion leading the way but North Tawton gave them a run for their money the home side squeezing in 3-2.

A third win for Axminster Town sees them heading Division Six Brown, Exmouth Riptide seen off 7-0. Wenn 3, Smith 2, Quigley and Ambrose for the tigers.
Maclellan with the vital goal for Lyme Regis to snatch a 1-0 win at Cranbrook United, Welch with the Axmouth United goal at home to Cranbrook Town but the visitors away with the points from a 2-1 success. Stone and Salter with the Town strikes.
Farway United simply elated after beating Colyton 2-0, Beck had both goals, Lewis the star man for Colyton.

Tedburn St Mary opened a gap on their Division Six Davey rivals following their 5-2 win against South Zeal United, their nearest challangers Topsham having County cup duties.
Elsewhere Hatherleigh Town on a goal spree at neighbours Okehampton Argyle where they won 8-0. Munn 3, Hunt 2, Presswell, Smith and Braithwaite-Smith finding the net.
Chagford saw off Newton St Cyres 4-0, making the moormen doubly happy, Alfie and Rob Miller with singles, Gill and Marriott also scoring.
Bow AAC 4-2 winners against Phoenix United’s second XI Quick 2, Cope and Chandler scoring, Wright with both for Phoenix whose Davis was the pick of the side.

However Phoenix 1st XI won a titanic match against Dawlish United 5-4 to head the Division Six Webb table. The Hogan brothers shared three Phoenix goals, Viney and Biddulph with tother two.
Whipton & Pinhoe sent Lympstone away beaten 5-0, a Rich treble, Dylan and Finch doing the job.
Played on Friday evening Central were 5-3 winners at Elmore
