PRESENTATION NIGHT GETS FULL MARKS

The Stitch2print Devon & Exeter Football League presentation night held at the Exeter Court Hotel was a big success according to all taking part. All but five clubs for various reasons were there to receive their respective trophies, and Devon County official Dave Parish was also very praiseworthy as he pointed out that the D & E is now one of few Leagues now staging these events.

Special awards were made to Clyst Valley secretary Reg Vicary, referee Brian Holmes, and up and coming referee George Budden.

The League is now set for next Fridays Annual General meeting at Pinhoe in Exeter, details of which should have been circulated to all clubs with a reminder that failure to attend carries a fine.
